Life is Designed

Posted by Steve Beckow

We’re all given a piece of the puzzle. At the conference there were questions asked on science, psychic phenomena, health, etc., that I could not answer. I don’t have those pieces of the puzzle. But I do have a piece of the puzzle on the purpose, plan and design of life.

Would I trade my piece of the puzzle for any other piece? Not on your life. I’m quite satisfied with the piece I was given and will very happily spend the rest of my (allegedly very long) life absorbed in the study of it.

What is that piece? In 1987 I had a vision in which I saw the Divine Plan being worked out in the case of an individual soul which left God and journeyed out into the world, like the prodigal son, only to return to God when it had finished all of its wanderings.

Every bit of that journey was touched on but without words. Moreover, the revelation was highly symbolic and had to be unpacked. And that took ten years of reading only enlightened authors and ten more years of studying related subjects like life after death and now 2012 and Ascension.

It took a huge amount of study to unravel the meaning of an eight-second, wordless tableau I watched. But finally I began to feel that I understood what I was shown. The necessity of twenty years of study to do that had its own effect: it committed my life to the study of the very matter which lay at the heart of life’s purpose: enlightenment.

Life is designed. Like a well-designed highway it has its bumper guards. The universal Law of Karma keeps us from leaving the road by driving off to the left or right. Go too far in one direction and karma bumps you back in the other.

It has its magnetic forces that draw us onwards, such as the Law of Attraction and the longing for liberation. The Law of Attraction draws to us what we desire so that we can experience it and see what is permanently satisfying and what is not.

We discover that nothing is permanently satisfying but God. And that is exactly what experience is designed to do for us.

The longing for liberation is a subsensible, tidal thirst for God that keeps us moving Godward lifetime after lifetime. We try to satisfy that thirst by buying fancy cars, living in luxury, having as many sexual adventures as we can, doing drugs, anything that lends us a moment of bliss, but, when all pales, the longing for liberation, also called the urge to evolve or just the hunger for God, persists. That too is a design feature of life.

This Adam Kadmon template of a human body is a design feature of life as well. Remember David Wilcock saying:

“The human body shows up in the galaxy on every planet where life can form. It’s a natural evolution. Some might get there by an insect; some might get there by a lizard; some might get there by mammals like we do; some might get there by cetaceans; some might get there even by vegetation, apparently.” (1)

The human body is to be found everywhere in the universe with a different head attached perhaps – perhaps a reptilian, or a cat, or an insect. One conference-goer described morphing into a feline form when she experienced her Lyran ancestry. Still a human but of feline background. What is basic to all these forms is the Adam Kadmon body. This is an available design feature for life forms.

Reincarnation is a design feature. The Judgment that happens in the Mental Planes, in which we review our life’s actions comparing them to our soul contract is a design feature. Soul contracts are another. The progression of planes, dimensions or densities is another.

We could go on and on naming the various features of life that have been designed and laid on. Someone has gone to a great amount of work for a very specific purpose.

Surely the realization that life is planned and designed would beg the question of us: what is that very specific purpose?

Well, the design reveals something because all of it has a bias, a direction in which it heads, and that direction is Godwards. All of the design of life serves us journeying from an unconscious awareness of God to a conscious awareness of God.

All of it serves a return to oneness with God. All of it serves to reunite the fragment of God that left Him/Her/It in the beginning with God, to take us who came from God unto God again.

Uniquely the jellyfish seems to span the plant and animal world, multiple jellyfish being born from one stationary polyp.

And if you were to know the Divine Plan, it too would say just that: that all of us are destined to return to God one day. Enlightened sages have been referring to it for centuries. Krishnamurti described it this way: “God has a plan, and that plan is evolution.” (2)

Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov referred to it here: “The law of life is evolution, that is, development all the way to perfection.” (3)

Jesus was referring to it when he said: ““I came forth from the Father, and am come out into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” (4)

Rumi described it explicitly in poetic form:

“I died as mineral and became a plant.
“I died as plant and rose to animal.
“I died as animal and I was man. …
“Yet once more I shall die as man, to soar
“With angels blest; but even from angelhood
“I must pass on: all except God doth perish.
“When I have sacrificed my angel soul,
“I shall become what no mind e’er conceived.
“Oh, let me not exist! For Non-existence
“Proclaims in organ tones, ‘To Him we shall return.’” (5)

We are destined to evolve from the lowest kingdoms of the mineral world to the highest kingdoms of the angels and then be reunited with God is some future so distant and so illustrious that we cannot imagine it.

So life is designed. It moves according to a Plan. And it heads for a pre-destined end: our reunion with God. Our Ascension is just one step along the way that the Plan lays down. There is nothing to fear. All of us will return to God one day no matter what path we follow. All genuine paths, again by design, lead back to God.

“The Secret Doctrine teaches … the obligatory pilgrimage for every Soul – a spark of the [Universal Over-Soul] – through the Cycle of Incarnation (or ‘Necessity’) in accordance with Cyclic and Karmic law, during the whole term. In other words, no purely spiritual Buddhi (Divine Soul) can have an independent (conscious) existence before the spark which issued from the pure Essence of the … OVER-SOUL … has (a) passed through every elemental form of the phenomenal world of that Manvantara [round of life], and (b) acquired individuality, first by natural impulse, and then by self-induced and self-devised efforts (checked by its Karma), thus ascending through all the degrees of intelligence, from the lowest to the highest Manas [thought-form or mind], from mineral and plant, up to the holiest archangel (Dhyani-Buddha). The pivotal doctrine of the Esoteric philosophy admits no privileges or special gifts in man, save those won by his own Ego through personal effort and merit throughout a long series of metempsychoses and reincarnations.” (Helena P.
