Taking the time during your day to ~ STOP ~ REST ~ and Gently Enter into Peace In order to commune with the divine within, you first need to tune into that higher frequency.
This higher frequency is always evident in the pictures of the Buddha and Quan Yin who always in a state of perfect peace within, after becoming One with Divinity.
The below poem by Rabindranath Tagore speaks to us of how we can negotiate peace in our lives every day by laying aside our chores and worries and tuning into that higher frequency where we experience that stillness within ~ in that stillness and peace we experience God.
I ask for a moment’s indulgence to sit by Thy side. The works that I have in hand I will finish afterwards.
Away from the sight of Thy face My heart knows no rest or respite, And my work becomes an endless toil In a shoreless sea of toil.
Today the summer has come at my window With its sighs and murmurs; And the bees are plying their minstrelsy At the court of the flowering grove.
Now it is time to sit quiet Face to face with Thee, And to sing dedication of life In this silent and overflowing leisure.
Those ” works that I have in hand, ” Tagore suggests you can put aside. These are the material concerns that bring your problems to the surface. He describes the presence of problems as “Away from the sight of Thy face, my heart knows no rest or respite.” You can go toward a faster, higher awareness when you discontinue giving energy to the things you don’t want or believe in your own heart. A spiritual solution truly awaits every- thing you will ever think of as a problem.
