Kelly M. Beard - Weekly Forecast: February 3 - 9, 2013

Weekly Forecast: February 3 - 9, 2013
2/4 ~ Mars (action) ~conjunct~ Neptune (dreams):


This energy is great for tapping in to your intuition and acting on its promptings. If you're focused on your dreams at the moment, this will give you a boost of creative energy. It is time to expand your vision and play a little. This is not necessarily a time to push your body, but your imagination! How well do you do with your action, fearlessness, passion, and desire nature? If you resist these aspects of your nature, this energy will be tough to navigate. Sometimes you can feel much like you're walking on the bottom of the pool, instead, practice floating above. This energy reminds us that effectiveness is more important than speed in most cases, so watch what gets you fired up and direct it consciously, be pro-active rather than re-active, use your imagination every chance you get and embrace opportunities to improvise. Be gentle and compassionate with your Self and others, honoring all wherever they may be on their chosen path.

2/6 ~ Venus (beauty) ~sextile~ Uranus (sudden clarity):

This energy involves Uranus which always makes you seek to break the monotony of routine or boring people. You will be more outgoing and capable of attracting unusual people and events. Take advantage of this energy to tap into areas you may not have realized were available to you before. Keep it light and upbeat; socialize and enjoy the experience of new people or activities. Keep in mind, however, any relationships begun this week may not be based on qualities needed for long term survival. It is more a time to ENJOY the people and experiences that pass through at this time. Accept this gift!

2/6 ~ Mercury (communication) ~conjunct~ Neptune (illusion):

This is a mixed blessing. If you are trying to express yourself creatively, it's great! However, if you have to confront someone about something which requires complete honesty from both parties, things could get a little hazy. This energy tends to color reality, misleading you to think you are being perfectly clear in your communication, while others are completely lost. It's better to say nothing, rather than be completely misunderstood.

2/7 ~ Venus (socialize) ~trine~ Jupiter (optimism):

This is a most pleasant energy, although short lived. This is a good time to enjoy some kind of social activity. No pressure - just easy, laid back fun. It can make you prone to laziness, but only if you're already prone to it. Otherwise, if you are typically constantly on the go, this energy gives you permission to kick back a little and release the usual pressures to produce. Take some time out to "smell the roses" or at least reflect on all that you HAVE accomplished and give your Self due credit for coming this far. This is a good time to go on a vacation or short trip. This energy tends to bring forth rewards for past actions. Take a moment to give thanks to the powers that be which brought you to this point!

2/8 ~ Mercury (thoughts) ~conjunct~ Mars (energy): (1 of 2: 2/8 ~ 2/26)

I have to preface this with two things: (1) is when Mercury is involved, it is a relatively fast-moving energy. (2) is when Mars is involved, being the lower version of power (Pluto being the Higher version), reminds us that with power, also comes responsibility. Now, that all said, the positive expression of this energy is that you can control your mind and direct it with passion, getting tangible results. This heightens your intellectual ability and mental capacity (for better or worse). You will be able to clearly articulate your thoughts and you should have quick, effective responses. If you maintain your integrity, this is an excellent time to ‘fuel' major creative expression. If this energy manifests is negative side, it can make you petty and combative, arguing over nonsense and wasting precious time and energy in ego control-dramas. And if it is not coming FROM you, it is just as possible to be coming AT you (from others). This is the best time to put your energy (Mars) behind your thoughts, ideas and words (Mercury). The power of this pairing is that they are occupying the same space, essentially energizing each other.

2/9 ~ Mercury (expression) ~square~ Jupiter (truth): (1 of 3: 2/9 ~ 3/9 ~ 3/29)

This is usually a good energy, making you optimistic and positive. You are probably going to feel like setting some long-term goals. The only challenge with this energy is a tendency to overlook the details if they are not in line with YOUR plans. Just plan carefully and remember the big picture. Remain open and receptive to information that could help you down the road.
