The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity. Weekly Forecast: December 30, 2012 - January 5, 2013
12/30 ~ Sun (core identity) ~conjunct~ Pluto (transformation):
This energy brings to mind a quote, “circumstances don’t MAKE a man ~ they REVEAL him”. This is Sun (ego) and Pluto (transformation) right next to each other, occupying the same space and you better believe that you will be a different being when this energy passes and the two planets separate again. Pluto brings aspects of our Selves which have been buried, neglected, or ignored lately (or for some of us, for a very long time) to the surface and shines a bright light on them. Whew, that can’t be easy. At this time, you have to KNOW, not just believe, but KNOW WHO YOU ARE ... because everything you “thought” you knew about these deeper places within - is in question. This may cause conflicts with others, especially those with any power or authority over you. Watch the power struggles - pick your battles. If you are in a relationship, it may be crumbling (think The Tower card in Tarot) around you. It doesn’t have to be destroyed (or maybe it does) as much as it needs to be TRANSFORMED. Transformation only comes about through authentic effort otherwise it is only chaos and destruction. Remember, breakdowns always precede breakthroughs!! And this time is for real - half way won’t cut it and the Universe will do EVERYTHING to prevent you from half-steppin’ in any way, shape or form. You must REPAIR or RELEASE and move on. This energy manifests physically what you have been inwardly creating over a period of time. You will see the first results of your actions. You can access your Source (the Sun) and Transcend (Pluto) who you “used to be” and step in to who you are becoming more fully. Use this powerful energy wisely.
12/30 ~ Sun (core Self) ~sextile~ Saturn (organization):
This energy best of the week, try to connect with it more than the restriction the other energies this week bring. This energy is good for getting serious and organized ... albeit may be emotionally as much as any where else in your life. You have access to some good discipline and the ability to consider all your options before deciding on anything. This is a good time to focus on your professional life if possible, and start making a solid, feasible plan for the future. If you need to, seek the advice of an older figure that you trust. And if you can't actually DO something in the direction of your goals today, take the time to meditate and connect to your plan mentally.
12/31 ~ Mars (action) ~sextile~ Uranus (breakthrough):
This energy gives you the original ideas that will fuel new action steps in your personal life. Beware of any urge to change for the sake of change. This energy, when consciously directed, can actually break you out of any ‘ruts’ you’ve been in, and motivate you to authentic change. You have energy and ‘a-ha’ moments which will propel you to a new, enlivened state of being. Think outside the box, engage in activities you’ve never tried and try to connect with a new and different circle of people.
1/1/2013 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Neptune (dreams):
This is a great energy for being imaginative and intuitive. This is not an intellectual energy, you will have to rely on other senses, like feeling (intuition). You may be very perceptive as to what others are thinking or feeling. Try to avoid work that requires any attention to detail. Allow your creativity to flow freely without censoring what comes through you at this time. You can organize it later. This is the energy to CREATE!
1/3 ~ Mercury (connection) ~square~ Uranus (intuition):
This energy provokes a lot of mental stimulation! If you are naturally flexible, this energy tends to make you get bored easily; if your are NOT naturally flexible, prepare to be aggravated. Relax if you can. The Universe may decide to remind you that YOU are NOT in control. And the more stubborn and inflexible you are, the more it will let you have it! Either way, it will be a fast pace. You will have electrical flashes of inspiration. Keep that going, but anything you begin or get into, be sure to check over the details next week as they will not be your priority this week. This week is for creative planning - next week you can figure out the logistics.
1/4 ~ Mars (energy) ~trine~ Jupiter (enthusiasm):
This energy is GREAT!! This is good for all activity - physical and otherwise - you will feel uplifted and motivated and capable of twice the productivity as usual. Some say it’s “lucky” but it is moreso your positive attitude during this time that attracts good things to you. You will have a great overall perspective of the “big picture” and can plan accordingly. The only caveat with this energy is to avoid being OVERLY confident where you feel invincible. Be confident, not cocky. This energy is very good for knowing what you need and being capable of making succinct decisions about the course which will get you there. Calculated risks are the name of the game!
