Sarah-Jane Grace - Planting A Seed Of Consciousness

As each of us continues to tend the gardens within, there is a growing sense of new life emerging through the stillness and the majesty that flows freely in this place. The garden of the soul is so often overlooked by many, and it is only when we take the time to tend and nurture this beautiful place, that we realise just how vital it is to our well-being and growth.

Yet, there are times when the garden within can become lost in the mists of confusion, for we can lose sight of the powerful simplicity of the landscape and instead become focused on trying to make it bigger, better and somehow more impressive. Of course, striving towards enlightenment is important, but does this come through planting more flowers and building new pergolas?

Sarah-Jane Grace - Monthly Astro-Forecasts February 2013

Message for February 2013
Happy New Year! No, I am not being remiss and I am aware that this is February, but with over a billion souls on the planet celebrating the New Year this month, it seems prudent to see February in terms of new beginnings!

February’s New Moon on the 10th marks the Chinese New Year (and the New Year for many other cultures as well). This will mark the beginning of the year of the Black Water Snake which suggests a years of inner focus and tapping into both the wisdom and the intuition within in order to guide us forwards.

2013 has begun on a fairly quiet note energetically, many are still feeling quite beleaguered after the energetic shifts of 2012, yet at the same time, there is a growing sense of ‘freshness’ and exuberance as each of us begins to fully re-centre and focus on living consciously and vibrantly in the present moment, and this is our true gift and blessing. Of course, we cannot forget that we live in the everyday world and have responsibilities to meet and commitments to fulfil, but when fully awakened in the present moment, we step beyond the chatter of the mind and connect more consciously to the peace and joy of what truly lies within us; we stop chasing and start being.

Sarah-Jane Grace - Good Vibrations

In many ways it seems that we are still resting in the lull after the storm of 2012, for there is a stillness and a ‘quiet’ within, and without; the air feels fresh and clear, and there is a sense of peace that is hard to deny. Yet, on closer exploration, it seems that within the quiet, a great deal of activity is occurring, for nothing ever remains the same for long. As a result, there is an underlying exuberance and buoyancy that is gently dancing on the waves that continue to lap the shorelines of our souls. It is hard to put into words, but this exuberance is both tangible and palpable.

For some, the thought of continuing shift and change is exhausting, but for many there is a growing sense of acceptance that change is inevitable, for nothing is truly permanent. It is this acceptance that leads the way now for it is a sign of awakening and being fully conscious and present in the current moment. Accepting change and becoming One with the flow are not new concepts, but their application to our lives has shifted away from each of us trying to seek these out to simply allowing them to be. In other words, rather than trying to attain a state of awakened consciousness, we are it already in the present moment.

A New Kind Of Wonderful...

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As another New Year gets into full swing there is a growing sense of ‘earthing’ as each of us finds peace and stillness in the spaces within. After so much shift, transition and metamorphosis it comes as some relief to sense a tranquillity rising up from within that brings with it vision, wisdom and a powerful sense of knowing. Although many are still standing at the crossroads pondering which way to turn (if at all), many others are now contemplating the best way to embrace life in order to live the best life possible. The year ahead feels exciting, vibrant and full of life, and even though the path is uncertain on many levels, intuitively it still feels ‘right’.

Of course, embracing life and striving to live the best life possible has always been the aim, but with so much uncertainty, confusion and discombobulation it has been hard to see the wood for the trees. As a result, the ‘bigger picture’ shifted slightly out of focus as the day-to-day challenges kept us locked in keeping on keeping on.

More than a Feeling

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As we step into a brand New Year, the air of excitement is both tangible and palpable as we open up to living more consciously and more vibrantly. The New Year is traditionally a time to set new resolutions for the path ahead, and this year, such resolutions feel even more significant than usual for the energy and dynamics of the power of intent has shifted exponentially. Of course, many resolutions are broken and forgotten before January has ended for they belong on the ‘should, must and to-do list of life’ and it is hard to put mind, body and soul into something that feels like a chore. Yet, we find it hard to resist the drive to chase being better, for that is a part of being human.

Many of our goals and affirmations involve things to achieve and targets to meet and whilst these can bring us a sense of achievement, perhaps the most important affirmation that is so often overlooked is simply a desire to ‘be happy’ or to ‘live joyfully’. Such states of being are not quantifiable, for they move beyond ‘to do lists’ and suggest a willingness to focus on feeling rather than targets. When we let go of chasing those things that we believe can make us happy and instead focus on being happy, everything changes for the dynamic has shifted away from reaching out to the horizon for ‘completion’ and back to acknowledging that the horizon is already within us.

Monthly Astro-Forecasts January 2013

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

Message for January 2013
Happy New Year! January looks set to be a month of re-focusing and re-alignment as we connect to a growing sense of stillness, both within and without. After a somewhat rambunctious 2012, January may feel un-eerily quiet, but this quiet should be celebrated as it allows each of us to come back to centre and re-connect to our essence.

Although the path of evolution and the journey of awakening continue in earnest, it is hard to deny the sense that everything has changed; nothing feels quite the same as it once did. It is as though our eyes have been opened that little bit more along with our hearts and souls, and this shift is enabling each and every one of us to feel more connected to the Whole: to our selves, to each other, to the Earth...

Yearly Astro-Forecast For 2013

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

Aries

2013 looks set to be a year of continued shift on a great many levels of your life. Before you groan at the thought of this, try to take heart from the knowledge that with each passing day you are growing wiser, stronger and more knowledgeable when it comes to your true wants, needs and dreams in life. Despite the push and pull of many different threads weaving their way into your life, you can be found standing at the centre of it all rather than feeling like you are being tossed around by the currents. This is an important observation, for there have been times over recent months when you have felt akin to a tiny boat trying to hold its own in 50-foot seas, and you would be forgiven for feeling a tad green around the gills as a result.

Yet, you have hung on and you have refused to give up and you now find yourself more able to navigate the rise and fall of the waves feeling less susceptible to the discombobulation. This is wonderful news, for it suggests a shift in dynamic within you from being shaped and moulded by the currents of life to creating and defining the currents. Of course, life carries no guarantees, but as you re-centre and re-align, it seems clear that as long as you are feeling stronger and brighter, wiser and more empowered, then you are in a far better position than ever before to ride the waves and to embrace your Truth, your Self and your life with a passion...

Truth Rising

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As shift and transition continue to filter their way into the collective consciousness, it is hard to deny the intensity and the spiritual/emotional extremes. As we become increasingly more at One with ourselves and our Divinity, there is a sense that we are opening up to consciously merging with the Whole in order to find the stillness within. Shift creates movement on many levels, and as we look through the window into our lives, it is hard not to miss the earth rumbling, the volcanoes bubbling, the rocks metamorphosing, the ocean currents twisting and turning, and the mountains rising up from the earth with silent majesty and beauty. Yet, despite this shift, it is the stillness that shines through brighter than anything else, for it is the stillness that lies at the heart of everything.

As we stand and try to make sense of our lives, our paths and the universe, it is easy to feel very small and insignificant as we try to work out how we ‘fit’ into the scheme of things. Although intuitively we may sense that we have a ‘bigger role’ to fulfil and explore in life, it can be hard to gain a clearer sense of this when so much is happening on so many different levels. Yet, it is the knowing of this ‘bigger role’ that inspires us to keep on keeping on, even when the going gets tough.

Guerillas In the Mists

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

The world within is a mysterious place; as the mists weave their way deep inside, there is a powerful sense of quiet alongside an edge of wariness as to what lies hidden amongst the weaving threads of consciousness and the mists of the unknown. In many ways, these mists represent the soul, but they seem nebulous and intangible; beyond words and definition, and on this journey to Self, we want clarity and vision, not the unknowable and the indefinable.

As we stand hidden in the mists within, we can hear the fog horns in the distance and see the radiating rays shining out from the lighthouse leading the way. It is all too easy to see why so many step back from the world within, for it can be a place of mystery and uncertainty, yet at the same time, as we stand consciously in the mists, our eyesight begins to adjust and we can feel a deeper connection to the world of the soul. It is at the heart of these mists where we feel at One with the gentle and undulating rhythm of the soul, and where we can, ultimately, find clarity and vision.

The Cusp Point

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

It is hard to deny the unmistakable feeling that life is reaching something of a ‘cusp point’; a sense that we are approaching a time of energetic climax and realisation. Although this ‘cusp point’ feels powerful and intense, the predominant and overwhelming feeling of this time is both exciting and liberating. It seems clear that it is our perception of this moment of energetic climax that shapes and defines our experience; see it as a tsunami charging towards us, full steam ahead, and we can feel powerless and afraid, but if we see ourselves as riding the crest of the wave towards a new dawn of consciousness and way of being, the whole dynamic changes.

As the different waves and threads of consciousness all merge together into the ‘cusp point’, there is a sense of shift and change on many different levels of being. At the same time, the need to ‘let go’ seems to be growing in intensity as we step back from resisting and fighting the flow in order to become One with both ourselves and the Divine. Resistance is a part of being human, for we strive to understand and analyse our experiences (for that is how we grow and evolve), but there is a risk that we can become paralysed in analysis and unable to let go of the side rails in order to become One with the heaving mass of energies and currents converging within.

Monthly Astro-Forecasts December 2012

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

Message for December 2012
Welcome back. As wave after wave of shift continues to lap the shores of our souls, there can be no denying the shifting sands and the changing shape of the landscape that we find ourselves in. Everything is changing on so many levels, and whilst it can be hard to keep up with it all, at the same time, there is a growing sense of stillness emerging from deep within as we become One with the change and open up to consciously living and being in the present moment.

There is an air of excitement and anticipation in December as events such as 12.12.12 and 21.12.12 are upon us. There are many theories and ideas in connection to what these cosmic events will mean for us, and whilst it is part of being human to want to understand what’s happening, at the same time, it is important not to get tied up in knots trying to make sense of it all. Shift happens and we are all a part of that.

Many are celebrating the above dates with workshops, meditations and healing work, and many are eagerly awaiting the dawn of a new consciousness to be upon us. Yet many more will simply be going about their business like any other day of the year, not even aware of the significance of the shifts and transitions taking place. Whatever our perspective on December 2012, it has been a long time coming!

There’s No Place Like Home

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As we continue to weave the web and become One with the flow of life, it can be hard not to have those moments where suddenly everything stops making sense. Equally, are those moments; those lightning fast flashes where suddenly everything starts making sense. It is not uncommon to experience both in rapid succession, and to end up feeling more, but less, confused all at the same time.

This is all part of the path of awakening, but it is hard to ride the waves of change when such thoughts can fragment and unify at the same time. It is akin to taking one step forward and one step backward, and although this implies standing on the same spot, at a deeper level, much has been learned in the process.

The tangles and knots that we find ourselves in as we try to understand the path to Self can overwhelm and consume if we allow them to. If we step too deeply into analysis, we can lose sight of the bigger picture and disconnect from our Truth and essence. Of course, this is easy to say but somewhat harder to do, for we are human and we need to make sense in order to place ourselves in a flow of understanding; we want to feel a part of the Whole, but we need to understand what this means before we can truly feel it and be it.

The Sunshine after the Rain

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

There can be no denying the intensity and vigour of the wave upon wave of shift lapping the shores of our souls at the present time. Whilst there are times when we can feel lost in the currents, there are other times of crystal clear clarity and vision which inspire us to have faith and to keep on, keeping on.

With the vim and vigour of these shifts amplifying now, they are ricocheting deeply into our hearts, souls and lives, opening us up to the full majesty and magnificence of divinity. When we truly feel ourselves as a part of the Divine, everything changes; to reach such a stage takes courage and strength, for it involves going within and validating the Self. At the same time it involves letting go of the need for external validation and becoming truly at peace with our Selves. This is not about ego; it is about acceptance and openness.

When we step beyond fear and open up to our natural and divine state of being, we loosen those shackles that have bound the mind like ivy around a tree, and we begin to feel the power of free thinking and positive intent. This goes beyond positive affirmations, to a place of deep inner knowing and faith.

The Universal Flow

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As we continue to awaken and stir, there is a powerful air of inspiration stirring deeply within that is calling each of us to step consciously into the Universal Flow in order to become Whole. Part of this process involves letting go of the resistance (something we all have on some level, for that is part of being human), and this takes courage, vision and strength, for it involves facing our Truth and facing our souls and letting go of the storylines and beliefs that have moulded, shaped and defined our lives.

Life experiences often create storylines and belief patterns, for this is our way of understanding the experience and making sense of what happened. Yet, all too often, such storylines can stifle and contain our true essence as we try to protect ourselves and avoid feeling that way again. Of course, not all storylines are negative in essence, but even positive ones can end up stifling, for they can dance and sway taking us away from being centred and feeling Whole; we can get lost in the dance and lose sight of the bigger picture and the journey home (to Self).

There are times when we need to face our storylines and lean into them in order to understand them, but there are times when we need to acknowledge them and set them free. Sometimes, trying to understand them becomes onerous and draining, for we can become even more consumed by them in the process. It is important to accept that these storylines have shaped and defined our lives, but at the same time, it is important to realise that they only continue to shape our lives if we allow them to.

The Sticking Point

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

Owning our power, embracing our gifts and opening up to our Truth are all amazing and wonderful buzz phrases that encompass our quest for becoming Whole and for living the best life possible. Yet, when we stop and ponder these words, how many of us can say, hand on heart, that we are completely open to them and hold up no resistance to what they imply in our lives?

There is an inevitable sticking point for so many when it comes to ‘personal power’ and personal majesty and mastery, for there is a thin line between ego and humility. So many find it hard to embrace their power because they fear they are being ‘big-headed’ by doing so. However, this kind of misses the point, for true power is not about ego, and those that get lost in the ego or on power trips have not mastered their power, but have become consumed by fear.

True power is about honouring the Self and one’s true state of Being; as sparks of the Divine, we are Divine and we are magnificent. These words are not based in ego, but they imply a resonance with Truth and an at-Oneness with both the Self and the Divine. When we open up to our power, we step beyond the ego and the need to chase dreams or fight the currents, for we become conscious in the present moment, and in that moment we feel Whole and complete.

Monthly Astro-Forecasts November 2012

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

Welcome back. As we step into November, there is a sense of anticipation in the air as we draw ever closer to the events of December 2012, and yet, so much is happening in November that December still feels like a million miles away!

It seems important to be firmly focused on the present moment now as we step more consciously towards Truth. What may, or may not, happen next year, next month or in the next hour is not where our focus should be now, but on the gift that the present brings us. Being conscious and awake in the moment takes strength and it takes courage, for it means letting go of the storylines and the belief systems that have shaped and defined our lives and our worlds for so long. Whilst we may not be able to extricate ourselves completely from these, just by being conscious of them we are beginning to break free.

At the same time, as we continue to strip back layer upon layer of stuff, clutter and other fragments of life that encumber us, there is a growing sense of liberation from the inside, out, as each of us begins to feel lighter, clearer and brighter. Although much of this change is occurring at the core of our beings, when we pause for a moment, we can feel those shifts echoing and reverberating into every single atom of our beings and every single aspect of our lives.

As the sleepwalkers awake and the collective consciousness stirs, there is a sense of a quickening once again as the Divine consciousness weaves its way into the hearts and souls of us all. Love feels contagious now; it is spreading like wildfire and bringing hope and inspiration, joy and union. Whilst there is much that is still unknowable as to what lies around the corner (and would we truly want this any other way?), there is a sense that the struggle to comprehend and understand the shifts and the waves is lessening now as we settle more willingly into the flow and become One with love. This may sound simplistic, but in a way, that’s the point, for none of this has to be complicated.

The Eye of the Tiger

a message from Sarah-Jane Grace

As the winds of change continue to gather momentum, there are distinct currents of shift and change occurring on different levels of consciousness. One moment, we feel centred, calm and collect; but the next we can feel disconnected, disenchanted and discombobulated. In the blink of an eye, we can oscillate between knowing and trust to disarray and doubt; such shifts are undoubtedly hard to manage, for they are so unpredictable. At the same time though, despite the uncertainty, there is still an overall sense of forward movement and transformation.

This is a time of intense change; the path to Self (the path of awakening) is not an easy path, but it is one that we intuitively know we are ready to walk. Knowing ourselves, being ourselves and loving ourselves lies at the core of all of this change, for it is once we have become true to our essence, that we become love and feel divinity flowing freely through our veins. We always have been Divine of course, it’s just that life’s twists and turns have so frequently tripped us up or taken us off-piste, that we have ‘forgotten’ out true state of being.

It is all too easy to say ‘be Divine’ and the rest will take care of itself, for whilst this is true, as human beings, it is not always as straightforward as this, for we like to think, to probe, to understand and to seek out meaning. We need to feel a part of our transformation and to feel a conscious shift towards ‘being Divine’. Accepting it blindly rarely works, for we need to feel it, be it and believe it.

This is a time for becoming One with the flow within in order to find peace within our hearts and souls in order to let go of the doubts, the fears and the angst connected to living consciously and being ‘awake’. This takes strength and courage, for it means facing our depths and Truth, and connecting to the source of power within.

Although we may feel lost in the tangled jungle within, it is time to find the beacons that illuminate the path to becoming Whole and complete. This is a deeply personal experience, and one that cannot be easily defined, for it means something completely different to each individual soul. Whilst we are collectively shifting and awakening, the path of Divinity is innately personal as well.

Monthly Astro-Forecasts July 2012

Welcome back! As we continue to ride the waves and embrace change both within and without, it seems that we are beginning to see both ourselves, and our lives, from a new perspective. The more we surrender to the true flow of life, the more awakened, inspired and aware we become and the more our consciousness expands as a result.

Speaking and living Truth is not an easy path to step on to, for it takes courage and belief; but once walking such a path, it becomes natural and the only way to be! Yet, how do we get from where we are to where we want to be when life throws us curveballs and challenges? How do we step into the unknown when we have responsibilities and duties? On many levels, this is what gets in the way, for the more we try to think this flow, to rationalise and seek out guarantees, the further away from it we become. Life is unknowable; it always is, even if we stick to the familiar, for we can never have guarantees or certainties, life just doesn’t work like that. Of course, throwing caution to the wind isn’t terribly easy either, so we find ourselves stuck in the middle, unable to move.
